    T o promote awareness of the value of the historic town  of Vigan ,Binatbatan Festival or The Viva Vigan Festival of Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May .It is the fruit of the reunion of residents staying in Metro Manila who formed a group called KaiVigan in 1993 . The festcal  began when an epidemic killed 934 residents that started on November 12 and ended December 15  , 30 years after a chapel was built in 1852 in the cemetery of Vigan.   For the past sixteen years, the festival of arts has been successful in drumming up attention for Vigan’s ancestral houses  mostly located on the heritage site of the town . An advocacy that promotes  women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.  Mother, daughter , wife- these are the important roles that women play in our society. But they should not be reduced to these stereotype roles. Women can be recognized and can make their own place here in society without depending on the other gender. Women are equally important in society as men are.  Women are the backbone  for both the nation and family. From taking care of the household ,making sure it is clean everyday ,do household chores, support every family member either there is a problem or not and always worrying about their health. Three challenging periods have already passed through in this modular learning system. As it always have been, answering tasks and performing activities is hard , on the other hand , I have gained several information and knowledge as well as it developed my skills.         Our general lesson in ICT subject in this third grading period is not what I expected . It not related to technology stuffs but more on research stuff. We were tasked to do a community based research to a certain category we take interest on . At first I don’t understand why we have to list things such as most liked places or tourist spots, delicacies , culture and crafts and others. I was frustated because I don’t know what to fill in the list as our town is not that full of it.      Its been a year since the COVID 19 pandemic started and millions of cases up until now were continuously reported . after a few months of this pandemic, severl vaccines were presented from different countries . The Philippines is the last Southeast Asian nation to receive a COVID-19 vaccine supply. But its better having one than having nothing. On this year, month of February , the first batch of vaccine arrived in our country. Some people are afraid on takingthe vaccines as there are side effect that can trigger their health and also the fear that the Dengvaxia incident that happened before might also happen again . No vaccine provides 100% protection from COVID-19. It typically takes a few weeks for the body to build immunity after vaccination.
