    Through the years , our ecosystem is continuously destroyed and utilized by us , humans. The world population extends from a billion and it rise constantly. This means more space from our environment is needed , more demand for food, water and other natural resources that comes from our environment. Ecosystems consist of the animals, plants and the environmental conditions of an area. Ecosystems are everywhere. Any kind of environment or atmosphere is part of some ecosystem somewhere.Wetlands, mangroves, rainforests and coral reefs are some of its examples. Ecosystems maintain a very delicate balance. But because of various human activities,it threatens to disrupt this balance and destroy the world's ecosystems. 


Pollution is one of the main causes of ecosystem destruction. Pollution can deplete resources and drive away local animal populations. Significant sources of pollution include trash, carbon emissions, oil spills and pesticides.Many ecosystems are rich in natural resources like nutrient-rich soil, water, trees and fossil fuels. Excessive efforts to extract these resources like mining, logging and oil drilling contribute to ecosystem destruction. As human populations increase,as said above, so does the need to develop more land. Many ecosystems are destroyed in order to clear land for housing developments and roads, agricultural uses and raising livestock.An ecosystem's animals are vital sources of food and population control. Many animal populations are declining due to overfishing and hunting. Animals are often hunted for their valuable skins, plumage, horns and meat.Climate change continues to play a significant role in the destruction of the ecosystem. Global warming has led to increased temperatures, sea levels and ocean acidity that disrupt an ecosystem's natural balance. 

 

And this all happened, because of US .  


 

We started all of this, and we are responsible for addressing the inflicted damage of our ecosystem. We must connect to our environment. We must restore its beauty. Preventing , halting and reversing this damage we caused. From exploiting to healing it. Give importance to the preposition , re-. Repair, recreate , restore and reconcile with our ecosystem. Because the damage will bounce back to us, humanity.

    Time flies so fast for I am now moving on to the third quarter of my grade 10 journey. As always I learned new topics this second quarter. Just like the first grading period, I will share my experience from the subject who made me do blogging, ICT! . Think of this as my “ Through out my ICT Learnings ver. 2.0”. For this quarter , I learned so much mostly the terms related to HTML such as tags. There are so many tags that sometimes I am confused by which tag will I used but I am lucky enough to learn it with a not so short time . I learned how to use notepad.      Its been a year since the COVID 19 pandemic started and millions of cases up until now were continuously reported . after a few months of this pandemic, severl vaccines were presented from different countries . The Philippines is the last Southeast Asian nation to receive a COVID-19 vaccine supply. But its better having one than having nothing. On this year, month of February , the first batch of vaccine arrived in our country.
